Arcosanti is the major project of the Cosanti Foundation, which was incorporated in Arizona in 1965. This is a non-profit educational foundation, with goals that focus on educating the public about alternatives to urban sprawl.

The Arcosanti project is able to continue due to the generous donations of individuals and private corporations.

Without this private funding, the Cosanti Foundation could not continue to provide educational outreach programs through the building of Arcosanti. All donations to non-profit organizations are tax deductible.
